I’m waiting steadily for parts of modern science to ask the world for forgiveness of some fifty years of nonsense.

Particularly those in quantum mechanics seems to be either way over incompetence levels, religious or both. Honestly everyone given a chance to express themselves seems to repeat others faults, or make the same papers on top of copies of much of the same papers. And if at all possible to retract some understanding of it, the only thing absolutely clear is: An echo chamber of noise wherein the final argument is the same circular logic, “it’s quantum mechanics” and certainly making clear one need to understand the basics(?!) The latter I agree to, and that is the problem, they really do not pay any attention to basics.

The other day a journalist asked, “is it room for god in any of these many theories?”, which to the QM-specialist answered enthusiastically “Yes!, thats what so special with theology, it is very resilient!”

You are basically right, even if you are wrong on something, because of the value of sound rational critics.

Science by likes makes money and fame. Making a religion around it secures steady incomes.

The two main religious sciences is quantum mechanics and and anything tagged with “climate”.

The next interferometer scam is bound to be a dream of how it can save the planet.Erik SBnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4166268588579831806.post-66113234598364886052020-12-15T11:50:12.736-05:002020-12-15T11:50:12.736-05:00Great article.
